Gurshaan Singh

Hey everyone,

I’m Gurshaan, a Class 12 Science student at Doon International School, Riverside Campus.

I like keeping myself involved in things that interest me. Outside academics, I am a very sporty person. I’ve been involved in MUNs and debates. I have also had the opportunity to be the Vice Chair for UNCSW committee at the previous edition of DIS MUN.

I also have interests in web development and enjoy exploring how things work and building things of my own. I enjoy planning and organising, which is something I get to put into practice as the Head of Operations at TEDx DIS Riverside Youth.

Being an army BRAT has probably shaped me more than I realise. Growing up in different places and constantly meeting new people has made me pretty adaptable and open to change. Every place has brought a different experience, and I think that’s helped me become comfortable with new environments and different kinds of people.

These days, most of my time is going into competitive exam preparation, so life is currently a mix of studying, managing responsibilities, and finding time for the things I enjoy.

A little bit of everything, always something new to figure out, and definitely never a dull moment.

But this is the average life of any student, so just enjoy the life as it is :)
