Gurasees Kaur

Greetings to all!
I am Gurasees Kaur,  currently serving as the Head Girl of Doon International School Riverside Campus, Dehradun.

Coming from an army background, it meant moving frequently and adapting to new environments across different regions. This dynamic upbringing taught me to embrace change with an open mind and build resilience.

Rooted in the core values of my family background, I am deeply guided by the ethos of "service before self," constantly striving to contribute meaningfully to the people and community around me.

Combined with my academic foundation in commerce, my creative and artistic pursuits play a central role in shaping how I view the world. As a professionally trained Kathak dancer, I have developed a strong sense of balance, rhythm and discipline.Beyond dance, I enjoy exploring various forms of arts and crafts, which continuously nurtures my passion for aesthetics and fuels my ambition to pursue a future in design. I am a golfer and enjoy going for long distance runs.

Driven by a keen curiosity about global systems and how the world operates, I actively engage in public speaking, debating, and Model United Nations (MUN) conferences.

Peiviously I have been a part of organising committees of various events including DISMUN 25 and Euphoria and will also be serving as the Deputy Secretary General for DISMUN 26.

I will be serving as the Head of Operations for this year’s TEDx Event
Whether I am leading student initiatives, performing on stage, competing in a debate, or working on creative projects, I am committed to learning, growing, and leading with empathy, purpose, and dedication.
